Dinner at Rumahku, Petaling Jaya.

My ex-company where I did my internship called me up recently and asked if I wanted to join them for dinner. I thought to myself, why not and then I promptly agreed. Rumahku Restaurant is actually a single story banglow converted into a restaurant and resides comfortably just opposite the University Hospital. It would be better if you reserve tables(by calling them up) before you go as space is quite limited. I carpooled with Francis down to Petaling Jaya via Jalan Gasing from NPE(which my mom said would be the easiest way to get there). We reached at 7pm and I proceeded to start snapping pictures.

Curry in claypot: Prawn Curry( didn't eat this one orz)

Vegetables: Stir fried carrot, cauliflower and celery.

Hot plate: Braised tofu with egg

Fish: Portuguese styled fish.

Chicken: Baked chicken in honey.

Early guests: Hann and Francis.

The boss : Archie.

The environment of Rumahku can be described as a very cozy place. Rumahku serves a variety of cooking styles, from fusion to western and local food. The food was surprisingly good, just like what home-cooked food would taste like. Food prices are also very reasonable. Definitely a place to place to visit, if you are in Petaling Jaya.
