Dinner at Shun Japanese Restaurant, Subang Jaya

Dad was coming home late, so I went out with mum instead. I wanted japanese food, and there were a few around my area, namely Rakuzen, Ryu Men Tei, Tomoe and Shun. I wanted to try something a little different, so I went to Shun(after I read from masak-masak that they had yakimono aka grilled skewered meat.)

Shun is located right opposite of SJMC and along the same row as Domino's Pizza. It would probably be hard to miss it, as their signboard is black with red text. Shun has a very nice ambience.

Plastered all over the walls : Off-menu specials, you have to ask the waiter/waitress unless you understand japanese lulz.

Recycling: Empty bottles used as deco. I saw some bottles which had names on it too.

Sit back and relax: Menu also themed to the surrounding.

Next we ordered our food and they were:

Chazuke: Salmon Chazuke.

Set Meal: Grilled Mackerel.

Upclose and personal: Mackerel again :3

Yaki Vege: Shitake and Negima.

Yakitori: Skewered Kampung Chicken meat.

Dessert: Black Sesame Ice-cream.

Chazuke from RM15,skewered meat/vege are placed at RM5 each with exception to the Kampung Chicken version which is RM25 for 4 pieces. The Mackerel set is RM28, and the ice-cream RM8. Overall it was a good one, except it was kind of salty(meant to be like that) and I had to order the ice-cream to neutralize it. But the ice-cream was great, not too sweet either.

p/s: after I went home, had japanese snacks too xD
